replied on: 11/2/2003 7:19:50 PM Vivienne, First off , before you use my name in any over your posts make sure you know damned well what you are talking about before you post. Secondly , you have never been in Ar while I have been Ubar , except of course as a slave. Thirdly , You have lost your life more then one time by my own sword due to the fact that you do not know how to keep your mouth shut, I am fed up wiht you and youre holier then thou attitude on these boards. IN any case Ar never once allowed gender bending of roles. Ar never once supported it happening and never has. What Ar did discuss at some point FAR AFTER Wulf left Gor, was using dual charachters for role play, and as I recall , when we decided using minor charachters in Ar was fine, Gender Bending was not allowed and I put my foot down and said NO, that I would not allow it in Ar. So get your facts straight, and just to remind you , when you petitioned to Ar, the only reason that your petition was withdrawn was because I told you that if you came into Ar you would be running your chances because your mouth always gets ahead of your mind. And should I also mention the various other times you have come back to me asking to repetiton to Ar only to be turned down?? Nothing about what is going on today has any bearing on what Ar did for role play long ago. Gender Bending was never approved by any of Ar or Ar's leaders, or perhaps Ghost Rider, Lasirius, or GothKiel could refresh your memory as well. replied on: 11/2/2003 7:32:36 PM ok People get real here please the one that I know of that plays a Master in Gor is not trying to hurt no one. they are a very smart and very well versed person that plays a role of a Male. they are not interacting as a sex pot or even grabbing slaves like many other -Masters- are I mean look at the Masters who come on here to fur the fur bunnies but no one says ok You can't do that because you are married. when a 50 year old Male takes an 18 yr old girl to the furs people do not scream child rape and if you want to bring up that they are of age well the point is the Male is just to damn old and wants to play at being young ........bingo 'role play' this is the same issue the One I know does not play fast or lose with the sex issue with no slaves so I see no reason to stop what He/She is doing. THIS IS ROLE PLAY not life sorry Goreans including Myself. |

But for someone to come to a roleplay venue such as VP/Halsoft Gor, where Master/slave relationships can and often do reach an imtimate level,such as "furring" and so on, and one of the people involved in the Master/slave relationship is portraying a role outside of their gender without being honest about their sexual preference or their true gender to the other person involved is deceitful,dishonest and totally unacceptable. Try this for a senairo, A totally straight man meets what he thinks is an attractive woman in a bar,they talk and make a connection, both being attracted to the other,one thing leads to another and they end up going home together,things start getting hot and heavy then low and behold the attractive woman that the totally straight man thought he had taken home for a night of passion drops her knickers and she/he's got meat and two veg. The straight man flips out and the deceitful Transvestite ends up dead or at the very least severley beaten. Now, is their so much difference between that type of deceipt and the same type of deceipt a straight person can encounter online with a homosexual playing a role outside of their gender? Yes a Lesbian can be dominant to a lesbian submissive,fair enough,they can do whatever corks or un-corks their bottle as long as they are both aware of who is who and whats what. I cant recall reading anywhere in the books about homosexual relationships. If this is someones sexual preference then they should choose a roleplay venue that better suits their sexual preference other than Gor. |

This person is now seeing Prejudice (Intolerance and One-Sidedness and Bigotry or Bias) based on Discrimination (Distinction and Differency and Idiosyncrasy) due to this persons Sexuality (Sexual Appetite and Sensuality and Libido) This is rich and to think ..... we teach our kids not to hate. ?????? Think I will be more careful of whom I trust in the future .... Personally I would not wish my friends to put my real life in Virtual Places |

replied on: 11/2/2003 11:29:41 PM thinks to self how many men do I know who are r/l subs but Play Masters in Gor when they are run by their FC or FW or slave. to many to count sighs there was also a male who Played the part of slave slut for I know a year so People how many and how well do we know the people we set with in vp Gor each day that are not saying what they are in real life r/l is said not to have a place in r/p so does it really matter for unless you have FCed these people or persay furred them it is none of your business who they are in r/l not what they are as long as they play the role by the books.and why should they leave something they love anymore then you should they pay for Halsoft same as we all do. |

It all goes back to Dungeon and Dragons when we use to set around with all our friends and ROLE PLAY...Thier was NO rule there that stated you had to be Male to play a Warrior or a Mage...Warlock or Elf ????Hmmmmm when we played this Were we a Elf or a Warlock??? HMMM You all say play the Role in Gor that you are in Real ie female = FW or slave, Male = MAster or slave....I know that when you played a elf or a warlock that none of you were a real elf or Warlock??? THe Point is why judge someone of what they are in real but Judge them on how they Play the Role of thier Character...Or does it go Deeeper then all of this??? ~nods I think it does....Some Masters are getting upset that maybe a mere female can out Role Play a Real Male at being a Master..I for one Could care less as long as they play thier on line role correctly....As for The comments on betraying who they are to thier slaves...
